SIX well deserved HUGE Stars
I can't begin to describe how wonderful this book was. I was reluctant to reading it because of the age thing, and after reading several reviews I gave it a go and don't regret it one bit.
There is one important thing I have to say: When you read this you have to NEVER forget that you are reading FICTION because yes, there are several implausible scenarios that made say.. yeah! Right! What are the odds??? Come ooon.... really?????? But I put all of that away in a closet and just enjoyed the ride and ended up loving every page I read.
This is a lovely story of survival, companionship and love between two people that come to depend on one another to go on living and the real deal was to see if such a relationship would overcome reality later on...
I got so involved in the plot and what I felt while reading that I finished this book in less than 12 hours..... I just couldn't put it down. And.. of course I cried many happy tears during the epilogue.
I only have two questions.. why was tutoring never mentioned or actually done during the stay on the Island? And we never got information about how big it was.... and where did the chickens actually came from and well.. how was it possible for Anna's suitcase to show up....probably a little research and explanation of the material or type of suitcase that actually allowed it to float and be washed away by the current, etc... just to keep it a little plausible.... NOT REAL only more plausible... ok... I understand it's fiction, but It is not a fantasy tale.. so that's the only thing I'm saying....
The book is mainly a 4 star read BUT I felt so much for these two and the love story and TJ was so darn cute that I am giving it 6.
