I will start this mini review by saying that the book left me wanting more; as in more pages and more story. Why?. Well it didn't have the "feel" from the other Unfinished Hero Books and I would have liked to learn a bit more about Raid's background and story. We got the feel of his struggle and his demons but not as thorough as KA has us used to.
I am certainly not saying the book is not good, on the contrary I did like it, I just didn't get the usual KA fix on this one.... nevertheless it had beautiful moments and as always supporting characters that I loved more than in any other book and I am referring to Grams and Spot (yeah! The Cat).
Hanna, the heroine was plain hilarious, mainly at the start of the book. I really liked her, she was very sweet and cute and funny and just what Raiden needed.
The epilogue... just beautiful and I knew I was going to have to go through that read... really I cried like a loony in a freaking restaurant for Christ sake!
:) Still more KA series to go.. but I am taking a break to read some books I have on my TBR so :) I will get back to the next series very soon...
